The "2009 Remember The Fallen Tribute" is scheduled to visit Eden Prairie at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 11, "to honor and remember the military service of Tyler Fey, who is buried in Eden Prairie Cemetery. Members of the Military Salute Project, accompanied by volunteers from Bugles Across America and the Minnesota Patriot Guard, will place a memorial flower arrangement and sound Taps at the gravesite during the ceremony," according to a news release.
The news release said:
The Remember The Fallen Tribute is dedicated to the families and friends of Minnesota's Fallen so they will know their loved ones have not been forgotten. The Military Salute Project of Woodbury, Minn., is conducting 80 gravesite visitations in Minnesota and western Wisconsin during May, June, July and August to honor those who served our Nation during the Global War On Terror.
The gravesite visitation is open to the public. The Military Salute Project is at http://home.att.net/~militarysalute2/ with details about the Remember The Fallen Tribute and a link to the Roll Call of Minnesota's Fallen. For more information, contact Jeff Seeber at militarysalute@gmail.com.
