After all these years, Mr. Case is finally coming out of the closet. How many of you out there have been told by Ron, that he is a card-carrying Republican? Well he finally admits that he is a tax-and-spend, bluer that blue, liberal Democrat.

In a passionate plea to local liberals, as Mr. Case begs for money, he confesses that he is "the only Democrat in the race." (Ms. Butcher might take issue with that).

Case must be broke because he specifically asks for money at least three times. He never once asks for people for their vote.

As Mr. Case begs for money, he complains that "Eden Prairie has been hi-jacked by a right-wing reactionary group on the City Council." In Mr. Case's mind he feels "one of the candidates has loudly been beating the drum for the Republican establishment." He made the same accusations two years ago, when the voters said "yes" to Phil Young and "no" to Ron Case. In truth, it is Mr. Case that has been beating drums. After all, that's about the only thing he can beat.

The most hypocritical part of the Case beg letter is that he never once mentions Dunn Bros. or the futile fight against the airport expansion. Buy why remind people about how you plan raise their taxes, while at the same time desperately asking for a campaign contribution.
