Walter Mills Jr., 89, of Eden Prairie, died Sunday, July 20, 2008. Services have been held.

Nancy LiaBraaten, 73, of Eden Prairie and formerly of Fridley, died Wednesday, July 16, 2008.
Memorial service was Sunday, July 20, at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service at Washburn-McReavy Eden Prairie Chapel, 952-975-0400.
Scott H. Richards
Scott Richards, 45, of Minnetrista, died Saturday, July 12, 2008.
A service to celebrate Scott’s life was held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 18, at Grace Church, Eden Prairie.

Jim Fogo
March 20, 1936 – July 15, 2008.
Jim died peacefully at Methodist Hospital following a four-month challenge from a brain tumor. He was 72.

Preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Mary Fogo. Jim is survived by his wife of 48 years, Gretchen Walby Fogo; their children, Brian (Brenda), Minneapolis, Elizabeth Gorey (Darrin), Sturbridge, Mass., Bradley (Denise Ho), San Francisco, Calif.; grandchildren, Lindsay and Andrew Gorey, and another 3 babies on the way; sister, Joyce Fletcher (Skip), Roseville; nephew, Tim Fletcher, niece, Susan Lenz; many friends.
A graduate of St. Cloud State with a master’s degree from Bowling Green State University, Jim taught math in the Minnetonka Schools for 37 years. He was an avid reader, golfer, music lover, bridge player, cook, traveler and sports fan and was a member of the S.C.S.U. football hall of fame. His greatest joy was his children and grandchildren. He delighted in introducing friends to Gilbert and Sullivan, whose verses he would frequently quote. Jim was a faithful member of Excelsior United Methodist Church.
Memorial Service was 11 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at the Excelsior United Methodist Church, Excelsior. Visitation was at the church from 5-8 p.m. Friday, July 1,8 and the hour prior to services on Saturday. Memorials preferred to be directed to Excelsior UMC.

Octavia (Trittelwitz) Bennett
Octavia Bennett passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008 after suffering a massive stroke in June.
Her husband, John, precedes her in death, as well as parents, Charles and Edna Trittelwitz; sisters, Virginia and Marjora.
She is survived by brothers, Charles (Norma), Grantsburg, Wis., and Roger (Ruth) Trittelwitz, Lakeville, Minn.; brother-in-law, ****** Munt, Topeka, Kan.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
In 1986 Octavia retired from Dayton’s after 40 years and continued to meet with that group. She was active in her church, Eden Prairie United Methodist, volunteered at the local food shelf (PROP), and enjoyed social activities at her Coop in Eden Prairie.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Aug. 1, at Eden Prairie United Methodist Church, 15050 Scenic Heights Road, at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Burial at Parker’s Lake Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Eden Prairie United Methodist Church.
