Summer's a busy time at PROP food shelf, in fact, it's the busiest time, according to the organization's recent newsletter.
Some of the items most needed in the summer are:
* vegetable oil
* sugar
* flour
* crackers
* canned fruit
* kids' snacks
* pancake mix/syrup
* canned tomatoes
* fruit juice
* toilet paper
* diapers (sizes 4, 5, 6)
* coffee/tea
Donations are accepted from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and Wednesdays from 4-6:45 p.m. PROP is at 8080 Mitchell Road, Suite 102, Eden Prairie.
