Crime briefs: Close those garage doors

The following incidents were reported by the Eden Prairie Police Department:

BURGLARY

Between April 8 and 9 someone entered an open garage on the 18000 block of Schroeder Place and stole two pairs of prescription glasses valued at $954.

Between April 8 and 9, someone entered a garage on the 18000 block of Schroeder Place and stole items from the two vehicles parked within, including an iPod and gift cards. The total value of the stolen items was $250.

Between 8:30 and 10 p.m. April 13, someone stole an iPod from a vehicle parked within a garage on the 8000 block of Peep-O-Day Trail. The value of the stolen item was $350.

Between 1:15 and 7 p.m. on April 15, someone stole $6,000 in jewelry from a residence on the 6000 block of Chasewood Drive.

Between 9:30 a.m. and noon on April 16, someone stole a number of items from a residence on the 10000 block of Spoon Ridge. Missing items included jewelry, watches, a leather purse – a total value of $6,500.

THEFT

Between April 8 and 9, someone entered two vehicles parked on the 19000 block of Chennault Way and stole a car stereo, digital camera and photo chip, bracelet, makeup and $200. A total of $1,600 was stolen from the two vehicles, which had been left in the driveway of a residence. Both vehicles were damaged, but no estimate was given for the damage.

Between April 4 and 10, someone stole a $5,000 watch from a residence on the 6000 block of Chatham Way.

Sometime between April 16 and 17, someone stole a box of watches from a kiosk at Eden Prairie Center, 8251 Flying Cloud Drive. The total value of the stolen watches was $2,000.

Sometime between April 22 and 23, someone broke into a vehicle parked on the 16000 block of Main Street. Stolen items included golf clubs and stereo, a total value of $1,300. About $450 in damage was done to the passenger side door window.
