According to a news release: Hennepin County Board Chair Randy Johnson will deliver the 2008 State of the County Address Thursday, April 10, at the Best Buy Co., Inc. corporate campus in Richfield.

The 3 p.m. address – held in the theater – will speak to how the state’s largest county meets the challenges of providing services in a time of growing economic concerns in both the public and private sectors. The speech will also highlight recent accomplishments in Hennepin.

Tim Sheehan, Best Buy senior vice president for customer experience, will introduce Johnson.

The public is invited to attend.
