The National Weather Service issued a wind chill advisory for today.
"A wind chill advisory means that very cold air and winds will combine to generate dangerously low wind chills. This will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken."
The city of Eden Prairie rescheduled its "Rock on Ice" event that was to be held at Miller Park tonight. The family ice skating event is now set for Feb. 2.
