A Parkinson’s Disease Support Group meeting will be held at Prairie Adult Care from 1:30-2:45 p.m. Jan. 9. The group is for persons with Parkinson’s disease or related neurological disorders, and/or their caregiver. Meetings focus on current research and treatment, tips for managing daily activities of living, and psychological coping skills. Free respite care is available with advance reservation in the licensed daycenter, Prairie Adult Care, for care receivers who do not choose to participate in the support group.
