Gov. Tim Pawlenty will be the featured guest at the Wooddale Church Leadership Forum on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the Eden Prairie church. The forums are designed to provide an opportunity to hear from leaders in business and government on the role faith and vaues play in the workplace and in government.
“A Conversation with Gov. Tim Pawlenty” is set for 7 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2. Breakfast begins at 7, the program starts at 7:35 and ends at 8:30 a.m.
Tim Pawlenty was first elected governor in 2002. He grew up in South St. Paul, Minn., and was the only child n his family to graduate from college. Following graduation from the University of Minnesota, he practiced law in the private sector. His public service career includes serving as a criminal prosecutor, Eagan City Council member and 10-year member of the Minnesota House of Representatives including four years as House Majority Leader.
