Shaw – Schuier

Amanda McKloskey Shaw and Nicholas Joseph Schuier announce their engagement and October wedding.

The bride’s parents are Dr. Daniel Shaw and Ms. Judy McKloskey of Eden Prairie. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Mary Anne Schuier of Overland Park, Kan.

Amanda graduated from Eden Prairie High School in 2000 and from Creighton University in 2004 with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and Spanish. She is employed as a marketing coordinator in the Kansas City area.

Nicholas graduated from Shawnee Mission High School in 2002 and from Creighton University in 2005 with a bachelor of science degree in biology. He is employed as a food forensics investigator in the Kansas City area.

An Oct. 6, 2007, wedding is planned at Pax Christi Catholic Community in Eden Prairie.

Peterson – Becker

Courtney Suzanne Peterson and Matthew David Becker announce their engagement and fall wedding.

Parents of the bride are Roland and Susan Peterson of Eden Prairie. Parents of the groom are Greg and Karla Becker of St. Cloud.

Courtney is a 1999 graduate of Eden Prairie High School and a 2003 graduate of St. Olaf College.

Matt is a 1997 graduate of Apollo High School in St. Cloud and a 2002 graduate of St. Cloud State University.

A Nov. 10, 2007, wedding is planned in St. Paul.
