Graduates from Trinity

Jaclyn Burkauskas, of Eden Prairie, was among the 245 students celebrating commencement May 19, 2007, at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, Ill.

Graduate from Drake

Several students from Eden Prairie graduated from Drake University after the 2007 spring semester. They are: Kate Crouse, who received a bachelor’s of arts degree in English; Erin Jarvis, who earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in biology; and Laura Wagner, who earned a bachelor’s of science in education degree, secondary education.

Graduate from business school

Two Eden Prairie residents recently graduated from the Richfield campus of Minnesota School of Business.

Katrina Overman received her associate’s in applied science degree in medical assisting. She is the daughter of Mike and Donna Buchanan.

Jeff Myhre received his master’s degree in business administration.

Recognized as member

Samantha Zuber, of Eden Prairie, has recently been recognized as a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda, National Leadership and Honors Organization at the University of Kansas.

Sigma Alpha Lambda is a national leadership and honors organization dedicated to promoting and rewarding academic achievement and providing members with opportunities for community service, personal development, and lifelong professional fulfillment.

Dartmouth graduate

Ashley Brianne Thorfinnson, from Eden Prairie, a member of the class of 2007, graduated from Dartmouth College, one of more than 1,000 students receiving bachelor’s of arts degrees at the 2007 commencement exercises.

Ashley is the daughter of Tom and Jamie Thorfinnson. She majored in studio art and environmental studies.

Edinburgh graduate

Kristen Nicole Olsen, daughter of Mark and Dawn Olsen of Eden Prairie, graduated with her master’s degree in fine arts on July 5, 2007, from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Scotland.

Kristen graduated in 2000 from Eden Prairie High School.
