The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals planned to protest EP-based Supervalu this morning. According to the release, “For the last year, PETA has been attempting to work cooperatively with Supervalu executives, urging them to improve conditions for the animals raised and killed for their shelves. Supervalu refuses to do so.”
