The Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Commission is offering up a number of new names for what is currently called Purgatory Creek Recreation Area. The names are listed in order of priority. What is also notable is that these names would for the entire area, as opposed to just the lake. Here’s the list, which now goes to the City Council:

Purgatory Creek Park

Purgatory Creek Conservation Area

Celebration Park

Purgatory Creek Memorial Park

Purgatory Creek Recreation Area

Anybody else have name suggestions? Out of that list, which one do you think is best?
