I feel the city of Eden Prairie should purchase the golf course and open it to the public. Other cities have successfully done this and the courses have been turning a profit for several years. Eden Prairie method of growth has always been 'If we have 20 square feet of open land, build on it'. This philosphy will turn Eden Prairie into a concrete jungle and add to more traffic congestion and anguish. Having a city owned golf course would guarantee that at least a small amount of open scenic land would remain pristine within Eden Prairie.
