Rachael Jean Soyk and Michael John Erdman were married June 7, 2008, at Faith Lutheran, Parkston, S.D.
A reception was held at Faith Lutheran.
Parents of the couple are the Rev. Kenneth and Beverly Soyk of Parkston, S.D., and John and Coleen Erdman of Eden Prairie.
The maid of honor was Rebecca Soyk of Parkston. Bridesmaids at the wedding were Joni Graumann, Rapid City, and Laura Erdman, Eden Prairie. Personal attendant was Paula Graumann.
Best man was Joseph Gutschmidt. Groomsmen were Peter Krause, Eden Prairie; Jonathan Geidel, Hesston, Kan. Ushers were Timothy Geidel, Parkston; Paul Schulz, St. Louis, Mo.; Dean Schwalenberg, West Bend, Wis.; and Eric Erdman, Wausau, Wis.
Ring bearer was Matthew Gaffney. Flower girl was Faith Rands. Officiating the ceremony was Rev. Kenneth Soyk.
Rachael attended Concordia University Wisconsin. She is an archives and research assistant at the Concordia Historical Institute.
Michael attended Concordia University Wisconsin. He is a student.
The couple honeymooned in Minocqua, Wis., and is residing in St. Louis, Mo.
