Cornerstone is sponsoring a Santa Shop, with gifts for children to give their parents and siblings. Donations of new unwrapped presents allow children from abusive homes to “experience the excitement and joy of giving,” according to a news release.
“Domestic abuse has a tremendous impact on the entire family,” the release said. “Cornerstone believes that we all have the responsibility to work in some way to ease the pain as a family rebuilds their life.”
Items needed include: gifts for parents, gifts for siblings of any age, gift boxes, wrapping paper, gift bags, gift tags, bows and tape. Items should be dropped off by Dec. 10 at Cornerstone’s office, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Cornerstone is at 1000 E. 80th St., Bloomington. For information, visit www.cornerstonemn.org.
