Rally Weekend at St. Andrew Lutheran Church includes a Special Worship Service of Ordination and Installation for Tasha Genck at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7. The community is invited to attend.
She joins the St. Andrew/St. Andrew West pastoral staff as a 2008 graduate of Luther Seminary in St. Paul. She grew up in Zion Lutheran Church in Anoka and completed her seminary internship at Christ Lutheran Church in Charlotte, N.C., according to a news release. She will work with Small Group Ministries, Pastoral Leadership for LiveWire and General Pastoral Ministry on the church staff.
St. Andrew’s “One Church/Two Locations” ministries include St. Andrew facilities one mile west of 494 along State Hwy 5/212 at 13600 Technology Drive and St. Andrew West one block north and two blocks west of the 212/41 exit at Hundertmark and Bavaria in Chaska. St. Andrew ministries also include Spirit in the Pines Church Camp on Pleasant Lake near Hackensack, Minn.
