“The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” is set to be presented by Celebration Players Drama Ministry Team at Eden Prairie United Methodist Church. The show is dramatized by Joseph Robinette from the story by C.S. Lewis., according to a news release. It is directed by Heidi Hoks and produced by Linda Evans. Shows are set for 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 14 and 15.

“The play has many Christian symbols,” according to a news release from the church. “The Lion, Aslan, played by Eric Peterson, represents a Christ-like character who gives himself as an innocent sacrifice in place of a traitor. The large cast is made up of adults, teens and children. There will be a question and answer session with the cast and crew following the Saturday evening performance.”

Offering will be accepted for the ministry and “Feed My Starving Children.”
