At Gander Mountain in Eden Prairie Monday, Maggie Udstuen from Chanhassen said her sister “loves to have pink” everything.
“We ride dirt bikes,” said her dad Jim Udstuen. “Her stuff has to be pink.”

Well, she might enjoy the new exclusive line of firearms for women now being offered at the store.
“While the male sector of the hunting community may stick to more muted colors, the new pink firearms have been welcomed by those who want to add a feminine touch to their shooting practice,” according to a news release.
A 20-gauge pink shotgun was offered last year, and was so popular that the store now offers five pink firearms, including a junior shotgun for beginners and pink pistols for adults.
Pat Polfliet of Eden Prairie’s Gander Mountain said the pink guns have been popular.
“The men are kind of awestruck, like they can’t believe it,” he said, but then they say they could see their daughters using them. The women say, “It’s about time,” Polfliet said.
