Helping people find the right path

By Unsie Zuege

The scenario: Your bedroom. It’s the beginning of a new day. The alarm goes off. You hit the snooze alarm because you are reluctant to face the day. You don’t have a bad attitude. You just don’t feel excited about starting the day because it’s going to be an awful lot like the day before, and the day before that.
You wonder about those people who can’t wait to leap out of bed in the morning, ready for their day to begin. Who are they? What do they know that you don’t?

Mike Grant has never lost a season opener as head coach of the Eden Prairie High School football team.
Counting Thursday’s 38-14 over Bloomington Jefferson, his win streak stands at 17.
“I’m relatively happy with what happened,” he said, of Thursday’s victory. “We really didn’t know what to expect and that goes for Jefferson too.”

By Mollee Francisco
Odds are good that John McCain will take the stage at the Republican National Convention next week wearing a traditional suit and tie.

“I’ve seen a lot more unlikely people wearing them,” said Truax, who along with friend Dan Stock, founded the knit pant company known for its wild prints some 20 years ago.
