The following incidents were reported by the Eden Prairie Police Department:
THEFT
Someone stole a make-up bag from the front seat of a car between 5:30 and 9:45 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, outside of Life Time Fitness at 6233 Baker Road. About $500 in damage was done to the car’s window and the stolen items were valued at $1,068.
Someone stole the license plate off a van parked outside Foss Swim School, 6545 Flying Cloud Drive, sometime between Nov. 2 and 4. Five air conditioning units were damaged and officers said they believe the suspect was trying to get to copper behind the vents. The total damage was $4,000. There is no suspect information.
BURGLARY
Someone broke into Turn Style Consignment, 960 Prairie Center Drive, between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4. Damage to two cash registers totaled $1,000. The suspect entered the rear of the business by prying open a door and police responded to an intrusion alarm. Nothing was taken.
Between Nov. 4 and 5, someone broke into Mint Condition Detailing in the 6000 block of Edenvale Boulevard. Damage to the door and lock set totaled $250. Two computers with printers and a car stereo were left on the floor and police believe an employee may have walked in on the suspect.
Someone broke into a residence on the 1200 block of Harvard Avenue. The married couple reported a 9mm Glock, valued at $500, a purse, camera and other items were stolen. The basement window was broken and there were multiple pry marks on the back door.
Someone broke into a residence at the 9000 block of Cold Stream Lane between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6. The wife was out of town and the husband had been shopping when he came home to find the kitchen garbage can empty and garbage and miscellaneous papers strewn about. An LCD television, two laptops and a desktop computer were stolen.
