The Minnesota Historical Society is conducting a filmmaking competition on the topic of Minnesota's Greatest Generation – those born between 1910 and 1929. Eden Prairie resident Kevin Rofidal collaborated on one film, “Red Leader on Fire,” a film about his great uncle, who lived in captivity as a POW.
The film will be among those screened at an event at the Riverview Theatre from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 19 where prizes will be awarded. The theater is at 3800 42nd Ave. S., Minneapolis.
