![]() DI teams heading to Nationals

All five Eden Prairie teams participating in the Destination ImagiNation state tournament, qualified to attend nationals in Knoxville, Tenn. Teams include: Running with Chainsaws, managed by Mark Huschke, and includes Davis Eldridge, Teddy Heil, Joey Gasper, Sam Hoch, Daniel Huschke and Jake Pettit. Subtle Innuendo, managed by Michele Grindal, and includes Erik Grindal, Brent Harries, Kevin Karner, Matt Steen, Steve Thyken, Stephanie Vilandrer, and Nora Vanni. The team won its second DaVinci award this year, given “... for having a unique approach to a solution, for risk taking and/or for outstanding creativity.” Five Smart Kids and Brian also received first place in Obstacles, of Course! The team is managed by Peggy Baker, the team members are Nick Baker, Zaq Baker, Aaron Bartnik, Jill Steen, Brian Stroinski and Katie Thyken. Good Grief qualified. The team is managed by Chris Nylander and team members include Clarrisa Hart, Mihika Hemmady, Elizabeth Huschke, Qian Long, Rick Nylander and Julian Marin. Uiops! We did it again, placed third in state but will advance thanks to a wild card spot. The team is managed by Peggy Baker, with team members Isaiah Baker, Sam Bradley, Kevin Bu, Valerie Eliasen, CJ Marschke, Erik Savereide and Olivia Urbanski.
