Registrations are now being taken for a new, local, i9 Sports flag football league for boys and girls ages 4 to 14 beginning June 21st. i9 Sports, new to Minnesota, is one of the fastest growing youth sports programs in the country operating in 25 states with a membership of nearly 150,000 parents, officials and volunteers. The flag football program is designed to emphasize development, sportsmanship and fun more than the score. There are no tryouts or fundraisers. Games are played once a week with optional practices before the game. All kids play and every effort is made to ensure equal playing time.
