2008 Elizabeth Fries Ellet Interpretive Trail Events Events are outdoors at the Richard T. Anderson Conservation Area, Eden Prairie 18700 Flying Cloud Drive Eden Prairie, MN 1/6 mile past Lions Tap Restaurant

Each Event is $20 per person -- Families with children $20.00 per family

1st Annual "Recycled Art Contest"
Start: 7:31 am
End: 7:00 pm

225 Water Street Creative Arts & Holding Company is looking for the next best “Trash-formation” artist. The contest is open to found object artists (10-100) that want to express their creative abilities using reclaimed materials. There is no fee to enter.

Art Specifications:
1. Materials that would otherwise be trash.
2. Media of your choice that conveys the 3R's, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

Judging Criteria:
1. Use of Recycled Materials.
2. Creativity & Functionality.
3. Originality.
4. Level of Effort


Choral Concert
Start: 7:00 pm
End: 9:00 pm

The Eden Prairie High School Choir will perform at Wooddale Church, 6630 Shady Oak Road.


Eden Prairie City Council meeting
Start: 7:00 pm
End: 9:00 pm

The Eden Prairie City Council meeting is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, at Eden Prairie City Center, 8080 Mitchell Road.

Sons of Norway
Start: 7:00 pm
End: 8:00 pm

Vestland Lodge, Sons of Norway, will celebrate Syttende Mai with a Kold Bord at its regular meeting at 7 p.m. May 20 at Minnetonka Community Center, 14600 Minnetonka Blvd. The public is invited. Call 952-938-2920 for more information.
