On July 12, Eden Prairie residents Lucas Kunach, and Michael and Judith Graceman competed in the Life Time Fitness Triathlon. This year’s team was made up of 40 athletes of various abilities. Leading the team was Chef Vincent Francoual, owner and head chef of Vincent – A Restaurant. The athletes swam, biked and ran their way to the finish line in support of the local nonprofit organization Fraser. This year the team raised more than $32,000 for Fraser services for children and adults with special needs. Those who pledged money to the athletes were entered into a drawing to win an elegant dinner for six at Vincent’s restaurant, complete with personal attention from the chef.
This is Vincent’s fifth year competing in the event and his third to form a team. The money raised by Vincent’s team supports Fraser services for children and adults who have autism, Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities and cognitive disorders. Fraser is a Minnesota nonprofit with a nationally renowned reputation, serving children and adults with special needs. This multi-faceted human service organization provides direct services, information and support in the areas of education, housing and healthcare.
