Wyffels-Szulczewski

Amanda Lea Wyffels and Steven Dennis Szulczewski of Minnetonka announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Amanda is the daughter of David and Vicky Wyffels of Willmar, Minn. She graduated from Willmar Senior High School in 2000, from St. Cloud State University in 2004 with a B.A. in psychology, and from the University of North Dakota with an M.A. in counseling in 2007. Amanda is pursuing a career in Marriage and Family Therapy and is employed by South Metro Human Services in St. Paul.
Steve is the son of Dennis Szulczewski of Chaska and Susan Szulczewski of Eden Prairie. He graduated from Eden Prairie High School in 1999 and from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2004 with a B.S. in computer engineering. Steve is employed at St. Jude Medical as an IT Security Analyst and is pursuing an MBA.
A wedding is planned for June 20, 2009, in Plymouth, Minn.

Szulczewski-Monty

Laura Beth Szulczewski and Joseph Collins Monty of Denver, Colo., announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Laura is the daughter of Susan Szulczewski of Eden Prairie. She graduated from Eden Prairie High School in 2002 and attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison where she majored in journalism and was a member and captain of the UW Dance Team. After graduation, Laura worked as a legal assistant at a law firm in Madison, Wis. Laura just completed her first year of law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
Joe is the son of Timothy and Kathleen Monty of Fort Collins, Colo. He graduated from Fort Collins High School and the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a bachelor’s degree, majoring in real estate and finance. At UW Joe was a starting defensive lineman for the Badgers Football team and as a senior co-captain helped lead the Badgers to a record 12-1 season. He is now earning a master’s degree in the graduate tax program at the University of Denver, completing the requirements for his CPA, and will begin a position with Deloitte after graduation in August.
A wedding is planned for Aug. 1, 2009, at Pax Christi Catholic Community in Eden Prairie.
