Antiquing enthusiasts get ready for the second Eden Prairie Antique Fair set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9.
The Dunn Bros. in the Smith-Douglas-More House, 8107 Eden Prairie Road, plays host to the event, which features live music throughout the day.
Performances are set as follows:

* 10:20 a.m. – Ralph Bailey
* 11 a.m. – Pippi Ardennia

In addition, a “celebrity booth” will feature Ki Nassauer of Junk Revolution (She is one of the founders of Junk Market) and Jane Hall of Mustard Moon.
Volunteers from the High School will also be helping with the event.
The event is a fundraiser for the Historical Society, which also raises funds through booth fees paid by the dealers and the sale of items, like Sesquicentennial ornaments. “T-Shirt Lady” Christi Michaels reports that T-shirts will be on sale at the event and $5 from the sale of each T-shirt will go to the Historical Society.
The funds raised during this event benefit the Smith-Douglas-More House. Last year’s proceeds purchased a porch swing for the house.
Parking is available at the Huber Funeral Home and Resurrection Life Church.
