I was looking through the list of hits from the late 90s and it was a pretty depressing selection. The only song I actually remember dancing to at my prom was "Blister in the Sun." I'm pretty sure there was no Lionel Ritchie.

The DJ at my prom played "Penny Lover" by Lionel Ritchie multiple times! Honestly, wasn't once MORE than enough? In 1996, "Penny Lover" was no chart topper. It was weird.
