A letter to the editor we received this week recommends the performance. Here's the letter:

Be inspired by EP Players

Turn off the TV, get off the internet and head on over to the Riley Jacques Barn for some real entertainment by the Eden Prairie Players. Their collection of one act plays will make you laugh, squirm in your seat and maybe even shed a tear or two. These talented, amateur local actors, directors and crew deserve to have every seat in the barn filled. With three performances left this weekend, there is still time to get out and enjoy the show in one of the most unusual venues in the Twin Cities. With appetizers served before the show, dessert offered at intermission, and quilts available to take the chill off, the Eden Prairie Players at the Riley-Jacques Barn offer an experience unlike the big theaters downtown. At a very reasonable price, too. Go to be inspired and entertained. Give the TV and computer a break.

The Birch Island Woods

As you'll read in tomorrow's paper, Rev. Rod Anderson from St. Andrew's Lutheran Church will be appearing on Feb. 17th & Feb. 25th as the Lord & Taylor delivery man. Fr. Patrick Kennedy from Pax Christi, will be performing the same role on Feb. 16th, 23rd & 24th. While a small role, both have graciously donated their time to help us promote our support for PROP not only for this show but for all future EPP shows. Tickets are available at the door, but you may want to reserve tickets by calling 952-903-9464.

This performance is held in the EPHS auditorium, NOT the performing arts center. This is closer to the basketball courts and the lunchroom commons area. Come early as many events at the high school sometimes make parking a challenge. And don't forget to bring a non-perishable donation for PROP.
