This is what the Frequently Asked Questions about the Community Center on the city's Web site says about childcare:

"Is child care available?

Child care will be made available to members by April 1, 2008. Fees for the child care and play structure will be made available by January 1, 2008. While child care fees are not included in the membership, they will begin at $2.00 per hour, with a punch card discount rate to be announced by January 1, 2008. Children using the facilities must be included in a Community Center membership."

So, does anyone know if there is an age limit?

New Community Center Fees

I know the fees topic for the new community center has been discussed in fine detail, but I have one more comment to add. I have been enjoying the new facilities for the past two days and I am not opposed to paying the increased fees except for the child care. I just inquired at the front desk last night about the new child care and I was informed that in order to use the service (that you must still pay for) you need to have a membership for the child. The problem I have with this is my child is 6 months old!
