Reps. Maria Ruud (DFL-42A) and John Benson (DFL-43B) talk about the last legislative session in an interview with Tim O’Brien on “Democratic Visions,” a cable program produced by Senate District 42, according to a news release. “They discuss the transportation bill; its history and value to our area. They talk about how the balanced budget was achieved in spite of a lagging economy. The conversation covers the growing need for healthcare and the new legislation for healthcare. They talk about education and the need for an educated work force.”
