I am wondering why all of these changes are being made at one time in the school district. The number of changes at Oak Point alone in the 09-10 school year will be staggering.

I don't think these changes are made to accommodate out-of-distict parents of EHSI students. They are doing the opposite. I am an out-of-district parent who will have one student in Oak Point EHSI and two in the old CKC building. How on earth am I to drop off at two different locations at the same time?

We were also told that EHSI and Oak Point will have different start times, and now the opposite is proposed.

These changes do not make sense according to research either: the high school and middle school should be starting after 9 and the elementary schools earlier. Little kids get up and function better early and teenagers do better not so early.

These seem to me to have nothing to do with education and everything to do with busses!
