Twin Cities & Western Railroad recently made a pitch to the Carver County Board about using its tracks for a commuter rail. You can read more about the issue here.

Then, of course, there’s the continuing saga of the possible LRT line that could run through Eden Prairie. The real question is, which of these projects is likely to happen anytime soon? How much of a priority should various transit projects be? If the recent legislative session is any indicator, it’s going to long, slow road to any funding.
