One Eden Prairie High School graduate recently had an opportunity to appear on the Price is Right. Kayla Laursen, 22, said she camped out for tickets to the show and is a “Big, big fan of Bob Barker.”
This got me thinking as to what my favorite game show is. I’m a big fan of Jeopardy, but I doubt I’d have enough arcane knowledge stored up in my brain to do well in that show.
Deal or No Deal is enjoyable, but infuriating. Seriously people, take the deal!
When it comes to all time favorite obscure game show, I’m going to have to go with “That’s My Dog.”
From what I remember, it was a game show that involved running with your dog through various obstacle courses. The chaos that ensued was kind of amusing.
Anybody else got a favorite game show?

Back to page topI used to get up early on Sunday mornings to watch reruns of "Let's Make a Deal." I'm still not quite sure why they had to wear those crazy costumes but there was nothing more entertaining than seeing Little Bo Peep go for Door #1 only to find a cart and donkey waiting for her. Haha!

I watch "Deal or No Deal" -- I have to admit that one reason is to see how uncomfortable Howie Mandel gets when people try to touch him. It reminds me of being at home in North Dakota during a Lutheran Church service when some speaker from out of town would suggest that everyone get up and hug one another.
