Oscar night menu help

» Read similar stories filed under:

It's been a tradition of mine to serve a dish related to each movie nominated for best picture on the night of the Academy Awards (which is Sunday).

I know from "There Will Be Blood" that indeed there will need to be milkshakes.

But what foods might represent the other movies best?

The movies are Atonement, Juno, Michael Clayton and No Country for Old Men.

Oh, there will be milkshakes...

There will be orange tic tacs in honor of Bleeker in "Juno." And hamburgers because she has a hamburger phone?

"Atonement": I haven't seen it and judging by the previews, the movie involves dour British people. Serve Kippers and tea.

No Country for Old Men: I saw it, but there's very little time for food in the film. Serve Tex-Mex in honor of the locale.

So, there you have it: Kippers, hamburgers, burritos, tea to drink and orange tic tacs in milkshakes for dessert.

Yummo!

Thanks for the help! I saw Atonement, but I never saw Keira Knightley eat.
