Because of it's random nature, Bits & Pieces mosaic is a great place to start. Pick a color that you love & follow it through the design.

Understanding how to use your tools and materials will make it possible for you take back a bit of creative control over your projects.

When grouting...always use sanded grout for Bits & Pieces tile projects. Try to stay away from white grout, unless you want your finished piece to look like a camp arts & crafts project. I recommend darker grout, to make the colors of your piece really pop. My personal grout choices are variations of gray & darker browns.
