Join the Minnesota Valley Chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW) for a celebration of Women’s History Month on Thursday, March 27, at the Prior Lake Public Library, located at 16210 Eagle Creek Avenue South. This event is free and open to the public.
At 7:00 p.m., MN Valley NOW members will present Mary Ann Bigaouette, Executive Director for Southern Valley Alliance for Battered Women, with proceeds from the V-Day Prior Lake 2008 benefit held in February. At 7:30 p.m., Janet Williams, the first woman mayor of Savage, will speak about her career and her experiences in city and county government.
