A Caregiver Support Group meeting will be held at the Shakopee Community Center from 1-2:30 p.m. Feb. 4 for any adult caring for another adult with physical or cognitive disabilities. The group helps caregivers learn coping skills and fosters self esteem in caregiving. The discussions also help to connect to community resources and make healthy choices for the future. The meeting is facilitated by a trained facilitator from Prairie Adult Care in Eden Prairie.
