It was a cold rainy day when I pull up in front of the old jail annex building in Mudbaden, just outside of Jordan. I haven’t been feeling well in the past few weeks and the gloomy weather hadn’t picked up my spirits very much.

As I sat in my car over looking the building I was reminded of the e mails I received about this building. I even was stopped at the store and was told about this building and the activities that went on. As I observed the building the strongest impression was that of an old person.

It has been a wild spring for Minnesota, cold and wet. And now it’s warmer but it is still wet and the projects that I have wanted to try this year has been beckoning me to start no matter how the weather was.

Well I have a spook in the house. Where he came from I do not know. He may have followed me home from some of the many locations that I have been to. Probably from the Landmark, I have been taking a number of my classes there.

It’s not a major haunting, just enough to let me know he’s there.

I have been studying phenomena of ghosts for over 25 years; I have been hunting ghost for over 10 of these years. I still cannot say my any means that I am an expert, truthfully no one can. There is still so much to be discovered and so many questions that have yet to be answered. The closest anyone can say is we have X amount of years studying ghost.

I write about are true stories of the supernatural that I personally have experienced. Sometimes there is more to the story then I tell about. With Mothers Day coming up I thought this would be the best time to tell this about this case.

I have been aware for some time now about these spirits. What has prompted me writing about them is some of the articles I have been reading about them. They do not call these poor souls Walking Spirits, they are called “Tramp Souls or Spirits” “Vagabond Spirits” “Restless Spirits” and other not so nice names.

I prefer to call them “Walking Spirits” The American Indians knew about these spirits for centuries. These are spirits that have chosen not to cross over at the time they needed to for what ever reason and wonder the world.

We all have a busy life. Running here or there or hurrying off to work, not to mention the after work activities. We think of the people we love but it seems that we never have time to tell them that we care.

I told you that I had writers block and could not find the words even for a letter to my friends and family back in New York. I haven’t written to them in quite a while but they are always in my thoughts and heart. If only they would know that. But how would they know. To them it’s an out of sight out of mind thing.

I got some e mails from people asking me what happened to my stories……..

I was a little surprised seeing that I did not know I had a fan club.

It’s nice to know that there are people out there that do like my adventures.

But please let me explain why you haven’t heard from me in quite a while…

I am suffering from writer’s block.

I have started several stories and cannot finish them or it just doesn’t sound right. I put them on the side and figure I will come back to them and still my mind blanks out.

It was gosh darn cold Sunday. My car didn’t want to start and even after it started it (like me) ran sluggish. We both are getting old……..

But it was important for me to get there. This was the class field trip, and I was expecting 7 to 12 people from the classes and from the team. Not everyone showed up but it still was a large group of 7

My last class of the year was what I consider a large class. It had 5 people.

I met a wonderful group of ladies who were eager to learn about ghost hunting and try their hand at it. They brought with them their own discoveries that they made with dousing rods and I welcomed the new information I have learned from them.

Being open minded is important when it comes to ghost hunting. I have found that too many ghost hunters are closed-minded and will not be open to new ideas. This is not how we learn. I will be putting their discovery into practice on my investigations in the future.
