I’ve been watching a lot of the news lately, admittedly most of it due to interest in the election, but in the process I’ve found myself absorbing a little economic know-how. And granted, I’m no economist. But I’m mad, and that’s gotta be the next best thing.

A new award you will be hearing more about at the end of the current school year at Eden Prairie High School is the "Above & Beyond" Award.
This is an award that will be presented by the Eden Prairie Schools and the Eden Prairie A.M. Rotary Club to high school seniors who go "above and beyond" in terms of helping others, overcoming adversity, offering inspiration, demonstrating integrity and working "behind the scenes."
Both the Eden Prairie (A.M.) Rotary Club and its sister club, which meets at noon on Thursdays, are sponsors of a STRIVE program at Eden Prairie High School.
STRIVE is a program where Rotarians work with a high school for the purpose of motivating students to improve their school performance during their senior year.
