Antique Fair is this weekend
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, visit the Dunn Bros. in the historic Smith-Douglas-More house for shopping, live music and free wine tasting. New this year is an early bird special. The first 50 patrons will receive a bag to go shopping. Come between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., pay $5 and you can come see what the dealers are unpacking, according to a news release.
Laverna Leipold of Leipolds in Excelsior will be available to appraise your antiques or collectibles from 1-3 p.m.

The YouTube video of the week comes for Cooking for Dads' Rob Barrett (former city Park, Recreation and Natural Resources Commission member). It's titled "Open House Sesame Ginger Chicken with Litehouse Dressings."

"If you're going to cook for over a hundred people you need some tricks," Barrett writes. "Here's a great way of making chicken sandwiches with some cool toppings that's super easy."
